The Comox Valley 

Location The Comox Valley is situated mid-way on Vancouver Island's east coast, a three hour drive north of Victoria at the southern tip of the island, and three and a half hours south of Port Hardy at the northern end of Vancouver Island.	Climate The Comox Valley. along with the rest of south-eastern Vancouver Island, enjoys moderate rainfall and the mildest winter temperatures in Canada. Most days in winter are frost free and the majority of golf courses are open year round.	Communities The three main communities of the central Comox Valley are Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland. Other smaller outlying centres include: Fanny Bay Union Bay Denman Island Hornby Island Royston Merville Black Creek Saratoga Beach
